The design of the pendant is a juxtaposition of forms and materials. The large 14 inch orb is nestled in a claw like marble cradle; the object suspended from a single brass tube and connected to a version of the marble cradle attached to the ceiling canopy. The light bulb in the center illuminates the orb evenly and simultaneously shines downward.
